    Note: US Mobile provides two SIM cards, GSM LTE (White SIM Card) and Super LTE (Black SIM Card). We recommend to choose a network according to the coverage in your area. You can check which network works best for you by putting in the zip code here

    After you check which network works the best for you, please double-check if your ZTE Cymbal phone is compatible.

    Super LTE

    If your ZTE Cymbal has VoLTE and no network restrictions on it, it should be compatible.

    GSM LTE

    With GSM LTE, most ZTE Cymbal phones are compatible.

    We highly recommend to check the compatibility of your ZTE Cymbal phone with our SIM cards by entering its IMEI here

    Here are some useful instructions for your device - ZTE Cymbal:


    How to turn Data Roaming off

    1. From the home screen, select Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile networks.
    2. Select Data Roaming and press the Center key to turn off the switch if it is turned on.
Note:

For ZTE Cymbal Z320, press the OK key and navigate to Settings > General settings > Mobile networks. Select Data roaming and turn it Off.

For ZTE Cymbal 2, from the home screen, select Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile network > Data roaming access. Select Off to disable roaming.

If Data roaming is switched off, the switch will be greyed out.

If your mobile data is turned off, the switch will be greyed out as well, and you won't be able to move the switch.


How to change Network Mode

Note: ZTE Cymbal C comes with preset Network Mode, so no need to change network mode on it.

For ZTE Cymbal Z320:

  1. From standby mode, press the OK key.
  2. Select Settings > General settings > Mobile networks > Preferred network type.
  3. Choose the type of network you prefer to connect to.

For ZTE Cymbal 2:

  1. From the home screen, select Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile network > Preferred network type.
  2. Press up or down on the 4-way navigation key to highlight a network type and press the OK key.


How to enable VoLTE

1. From the main screen, select the Apps icon.

Note: Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select Call Settings.
4. Select Voice over LTE Preferred and turn On switch (icon).


Note:
For ZTE Cymbal Z320, from standby mode, press the OK key and choose Settings > Device > Call settings. Turn On Voice over LTE preferred.

For ZTE Cymbal 2, navigate: Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > VoLTE. Turn it On.


How to Check if you have cellular data turned on

1. From the main screen, select the Apps icon.

Note: Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

2. Select Settings icon.
3. Select Wireless & Networks.
4. Select Mobile Networks.
5. Select Mobile Data to turn On Switch (on icon).

Note:
For ZTE Cymbal Z320: From standby mode, press the OK key, select Settings > General settings > Mobile networks. Select Mobile Data to enable data access over the mobile network.

For ZTE Cymbal 2: From the home screen, select Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile network > Mobile Data. Select On to enable data access.


How to Update the APN

1. From the home screen, select  Settings > Wireless & Networks > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names.

Note:
Use the 4-way navigation key to scroll up and down to see all the APNs.

For ZTE Cymbal Z320, navigate to Settings > General settings > Mobile networks > Access Point Names.

For ZTE Cymbal 2, from the home screen, select Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile network > Access point names.

2. To set the APN to default settings, select Options > Reset to default (If there are pre-existing APN profiles from a previous carrier, please click Reset to Default to reset the APN (skip this step if there are none).
3. Press the New button / left button (for ZTE Cymbal Z320), and create a New APN.


How to Manually search for network

1. From the main screen, select the Apps icon.

Note: Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

2. Select Settings icon.
3. Navigate to General Settings > Mobile Networks > Network operators.

Note:
For ZTE Cymbal Z320, navigate to Settings > General settings > Mobile networks > Network operators.

For ZTE Cymbal 2, From the home screen, select Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile network > Network operators.

4. Choose US Mobile from here to connect.


How to Turn OFF Call forwarding

  1. Dial ##004# to turn off conditional call forwarding.
  2. Dial *73 to cancel call forwarding.


How to Make sure MMS / Group Messaging both are turned ON

1. From the main screen, press the right soft key to choose Messages.
2. Press the left soft key to choose Options.

Note: Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and the center button to select.

3. Select Settings.
4. Select Multimedia messages (MMS).
5. Select Auto-retrieve to enable or disable.

Note: Enabled when a checkmark is present.


How to configure Hotspot

For ZTE Cymbal 2: From the home screen, select Menu > Settings > Wireless & networks > Tethering & mobile hotspot.
