Email to text feature makes it easy for a customer to send texts/MMS through laptops, desktops, and tablets in situations where their phone battery has died, if they do not have a phone with them, and etc. This feature works with both PC and Mac.
Note: Your message must be 160 characters or less, including the subject line and recipient's email address. If you write a text message that's more than 160 characters, the message will be sent as an EMS. Depending on the wireless carrier and device, the recipient may receive the message as a single message or as multiple messages in a row.

Sending Texts and MMS to a phone with a GSM LTE Network
- Compose a new Email
- In the “To” field, enter the 10-digit mobile number of the recipient followed by @tmomail.net (10digitnumber@tmomail.net). Make sure you do not add any space, dash or brackets between the phone numbers
- Write a text message of 160 characters or less, add multimedia attachments and click “send”.
Note: In theory, an email not including a subject line, with 160 characters or less, will be received on the phone as an SMS, but in practice, it often doesn’t come through at all. So if a customer reports not being able to receive an email to text, ask them to add a subject line to convert the message into an MMS, in which case it will come through, provided the regular MMS conditions are meant.
