How to set up a Blackberry with a GSM LTE line



So you are using a Blackberry. It's just a few steps from here to get your phone set up for the GSM LTE line.

Here's how you can check your Blackberry OS version

  1. From the home screen, select Options. (Note: Options may be located in the Settings folder.)
  2. Click Options > Device > About Device Versions, or click Options > About.
  3. The Model Number is on the first line. The OS Version is the first set of numbers on the third line.
Unfortunately, Blackberry devices running OS older than OS 10 are not supported for Internet and MMS on the US Mobile network. Sorry for the inconvenience!

For Blackberry 10 & Blackberry Passport

For the Internet, follow these steps:

  1. On the Home Screen, swipe down from the top.
  2. Tap Settings, and then tap Network Connections.
  3. Tap Mobile Network.
  4. Tap APN at the bottom of the screen.
  5. Enter the following details:

APN: pwg

6. Leave all unmentioned fields at default value or blank; press Save.

For MMS, follow these steps:

  1. Slide your finger left on display again to open the main menu.
  2. Open Text Messages.
  3. Press the dots.
  4. Press Settings and select Text Messages.
  5. Select MMS.
  6. Press Advanced and enter the following details:

APN: pwg             

MMSC URL: http://pwg.mmsmvno.com/mms/wapenc

7. Leave all unmentioned fields at default value or blank, press save, and then restart the device.
