Call blocking

Call blocking refers to the ability to block specific numbers from calling you.

We don't yet offer the ability to block unwanted callers at a network level, but you still have many other options. Some are better suited for blacklisting individual numbers, while others work best for identifying and blocking robocalls.

Blocking individual phone numbers

On iOS

Go to the Phone app, then your Recents, and tap the blue information icon to the right of the number you want to block.

For Android

The process isn’t much different: go to the Recents section of the Phone app, long press on the bothersome number, and choose block. On some Android phones, you’ll also be given the option of reporting the number as spam.

Blocking spam callers

On our Wrap 5G network, we offer Spam Caller Id feature. You can simply get in touch with us on chat, email or call and we can enable the feature for you. The feature will notify you when any spam number will call you.

Here are couple of other options you can consider to block spam callers:

There are several services out for this purpose, some free, others requiring a subscription. TrueCaller, Hiya, RoboKiller & Nomorobo are notable examples.
Note: US Mobile doesn't have anything to do with their service. These are just examples for your convenience.
  • Buy a phone from Samsung or Google that automatically identified spam callers.
Samsung’s recent Galaxy S and Note smartphones automatically flag suspected spam calls right in the phone app as they come in. The company calls this feature Smart Call. The same goes for Google Pixel and Pixel 2, which turn the entire screen red as an easy “do not answer!” visual reference whenever a known spammer calls you.
Remember that these systems aren’t perfect.
  • Use do-not-disturb mode only to allow calls from your contacts
This mode is a pretty drastic measure, though. Unless the only people who ever call you are already on your contacts list, you're almost certainly going to miss a few genuine calls.
